WHO IS LEON KOFOED?

Leon is an outgoing and highly positive athlete who seeks to push his limits, to inspire and become the best possible version of himself. Leon is a well-known spokesperson for the sport of OCR, multiple European, World Team Champion and a believer in the sport of OCR. 

The Athlete
Leon is the double OCR European Short Course Champion and one of the most experienced OCR athletes on that planet. Having started competing in sports quite late at age 24, he is still developing and aiming to one day stand at the top of an individual World Championship podium. He is a former Ninja Warrior competitor who specialises in middle-distance OCR events and he is the technical leg of the 2 x European Champion and World Champion gold-winning Mix Relay Team with Nikolaj Dam and Ida Mathilde.

The Entrepreneur 
Leon is also the founder of OCR Training Denmark and OCRvest.eu, both companies created to help the sport grow and give new opportunities to athletes, race organizers and teams. Check out his #getagrip pull- & grip power programs here.

The National Cancer Association ambassador
Leon lost his mother to cancer in December 2019 and became an orphan at age 28. He has publicly shared his experiences with trauma, loss, love and fear and he is a passionate ambassador for cancer awareness. Since 2013 Leon has organized fundraising operations as a public figure and he’s raised almost 500.000 DKK.
